Welcome to YOUR cooperative. Unlike most other companies, Tanner Electric Cooperative (TEC) was formed and is owned entirely by you and the other members we serve. Our purpose is not to maximize profits for shareholders - we are non-profit. Our mission is to provide reliable and competitively priced electricity to all persons and entities within our service area in order to maintain and improve their quality of life, now and in the future.

Transfer Service

This form is for transfers between existing service locations/addresses already on our system.

New Construction

This form is for existing electric service that you want to alter or requires the construction of a new powerline.

To apply for new construction or alter your existing service, please select one of the applications below, complete the webform and electronically submit it to Tanner Electric.

Residential Application

* Residential Utility Easement Agreement: Please complete and mail this form (PDF). King County and Pierce County recording departments require original, executed paperwork- no copies or scans will be accepted.

A non-refundable deposit is required for commercial applications and will be determined by TEC Engineering.

Business / Commercial Application

* Corporate Utility Easement Agreement Please fill out and mail this form (PDF). King County and Pierce County recording department requires original executed paperwork-no copies or scans will be accepted. Submit the completed original copy to Tanner Electric for recording.

Cancel or Suspend Service

If you are moving and would like to cancel your electric service and close your account with us, please complete the form below.

You may Temporarily Suspend your service for tree service, remodeling, or electric panel upgrades, and we will reconnect the service when the work is completed. Please call the office to schedule this type of service. There is a fee of $155.00 each time the crew makes a trip to disconnect and then reconnect the meter.
