Construction Updates

2010 Planned Major Projects include:

• Installing a new underwater cable to Anderson Island
• Replacing 1.2 miles of North Bend circuit #3 with 500 Mcm from Mt Si Rd to 140th
• Installing a new ground grid at Ames Lake substation
• Replacing existing older underground along Union Hill Road to west end of Ames Lake system
• Installing Automated Meter Infrastructure (AMI) to all of Ames Lake service area
• Replacing overhead with underground along Riviera for 0.25 mile on Anderson Island
• Upgrading the Head End of Anderson Island
• Replacing old underground in the area known as the "Tree Farm" (Ames Lake)
• Replacing overhead with underground at Higgins Cove (Anderson Island)

2010 Maintenance Projects in all (3) service areas:

• Installing fault detectors which will help reduce outage times
• Tree Trimming by contractors
