Construction Updates

2011 Planned Major Projects include:

• Replacing the center portion of existing old underground along Union Hill Road northwest from the Ames Lake Substation
• Replacing overhead with underground along Riviera Drive for one-third mile on Anderson Island
• Adding a new underground circuit to serve the outlet mall in the North Bend service area
• Upgrading the Head End on Anderson Island
• Replacing old underground in the Ridgehaven section of the Ames Lake service area
• Installing Automated Meter Infrastructure (AMI) to all of the Anderson Island service area - see Tanner AMI Project on this website for more information

2011 Maintenance Projects in all (3) service areas:

• Installing fault detectors which will help reduce outage times
• Tree Trimming on Anderson Island by contractor
